I have developed and led workshops on psychospiritual healing and growth for groups of 5 to 90 people of all ages, from teenagers to seniors. I find that exploring our journey together can make for some of the most impactful experiences of our lives. I am specifically passionate about working with historically marginalized communities to ground in freedom and sources of power, supporting groups of white folks in healing from whiteness and engaging in embodied solidarity work, and creating sacred spaces for those facing grief and bereavement.
Current Workshops
I co-launched a project in October 2018 called Community Inspired Action. CIA is a once-a-month gathering created to promote community around earth-based spirituality and activism. Click here for more information.
My approach to workshop facilitation is centered on the belief that we all already have the wisdom we need. Sometimes, we just need some guidance to help us rediscover ourselves and it is very helpful to feel we are not alone in this journey. I find that the most impactful part of group work is the sharing the participants do with one another, seeing each other into our fullness. Groups have a soul of their own and it is my goal to create a container for transformation to move through us. As the facilitator, I consider it my job to create a safe and authentic space for the participants, to provide a structure, and to foster opportunities for deep reflection, brave connection, accountability and healing.
